Welcome! The Millennial Mayors Congress is a partnership of city officials and rising leaders working together to address regional challenges in metro Detroit. Grown out of a desire to engage metro Detroit's future leaders and enhance cooperation among the current ones, the Millennial Mayors Congress is supported and informed by a broad network of people who work in cities, nonprofits, businesses and universities all across metro Detroit. Use this space to share your thoughts and find partners for advancing positive regional change.
On Saturday, December 3, 2011, the Millennial Mayors Congress formally adopted its Millennial Vision for Metro Detroit. Member cities will now shift to implementing the vision. At this meeting, the Congress also voted on our next initiative, the first step towards achieving the ambitious goals laid out in the vision. In 2012, we’ll be taking on regional vibrancy mapping.
