Vision Implementation

The Millennial Mayors Congress officially adopted the Millennial Vision for Metro Detroit on Saturday, December 3, 2011. For more information on the vision itself, check out the Vision tab. The information below will give your community ideas and resources to implement this vision.

Step Two: Talk about it! Use the resources above and the talking points below to share this information with your friends and with your local governmental officials. Connect to us on Facebook or Twitter.

Step Three: Make it official! Your local city council or commission should pass a resolution in support of the Millennial Vision. We're asking member cities to pass this resolution within 90 days, by March 3, 2011. See a sample resolution below, along with a memo to city staff.

Step Four: Achieve it! We need your help to work towards the future described in the Millennial Vision. Please contact Valerie Bieberich, program coordinator, your local policymakers, or your city's Millennial representative.
